Just by definition if theres a Part 1<\/strong> there most likely will be a Part2 – here tiz’<\/strong> Shade Tree Okie style. In part 1 (the first 17 or so) I work for the other guy. That’s all laid out nice and neat with lots of exciting stories in ‘Part 1 – Okemah to Korea’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When your working for the other guy you have a lot of time to play and play hard and I did. After I started working for myself I didn’t stop playing hard I just started thinking harder, seeing what I can do next to experience more, to make life better for myself and my family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know this is a silly illustration but life is kind of like an orchard, if you go in empty handed picking and tasting just one fruit at a time it’s time well spent. If you take a basket in to gather the fruit you taste it one fruit at a time as you gather but you can also dream about how good it’s gonna taste in the future. Both are acceptable. Without the basket you’re focused on the moment but you’ll probably wish you had a basket cause they taste so good – the nice thing about my life being an orchard even though there were times I didn’t have a basket I have one now and I’m filling it up… stories like this is like taking the basket inside a beautiful tasty Orchard, real time ot imagined. Dig in and enjoy there’s more to come… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No way I could pick which life (working for others are for myself) was more rewarding or fulfilling or crazy or tastier, both parts are what they are. Originally I was going to call each part ‘Hitting the Ground Running’ \u2013 Part 1 blah blah blah and ‘Hitting the Ground Running’ \u2013 Part 2 blah blah blah. Those headers are kind of catchy but catchy is not as important as appealing to a viewers curiosity. Ok maybe it is, blah blah blah!! Anyway moving on…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I’m doing this so my family can dig deep into where they came from which hopefully has a lasting bonding affect, and my friends can understand how much I enjoyed them in life. In both parts laughing together playing together working together fighting together and surviving together has been a joy and never to be repeated except in words which is kind of sad which is one of the reasons I’m writing it so our lives will always have a voice. Read on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I’m having a little touch of humility here and I just want the reader to know that I try my best not to make this all about me and as much as possible about me enjoying you my dear friends and family. Saying that is my way of hitting the reset button on my ego in my objective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
