Corny right? I got admit my brides been right all along I spent way too much time in bars. They were often my downfall, yes even my obsession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> I guess you could say one of my persistent regrets is that as a shade tree barfly kinda overdid it. At the detriment of my marriage and my family and my pocketbook and my work,  if I had it to do over again &#8216;yes&#8217; I would change a lot of it but hey it is what it is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Hard to explain to you the reader without sounding like somehow I&#8217;m justifying much of what I did and didn&#8217;t do in those bars. Which is equally hard to tell the story without relishing in reliving it and to recount it in a way that doesn&#8217;t glorify my very selfish lifestyle without diminishing life&#8217;s lessons learned sitting on a barstool&#8230; Listening to jukeboxes striking up conversation with fellow barflies and feeling the buzz of a few drinks. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You might say I set the bar low when it comes to the bars I know.
