Some say an autobiography or memoir is the child of a vain person with their vanity on full display. I don’t care what they say cause they’re wrong. It’s all about motive! 

I would say an autobiography or memoir is the child of a inspired, clear headed, person who’s had a good life and wants to share it with anyone who will listen but hopefully mostly with those he loves.

I started the Shade Tree Okie (STO) project many years ago and feel good about where it’s at now. I am proud to be rooted in what i’m convinced  is a healthy feeling of self-respect and deep satisfaction in lifes lessons learned. This project has revealed I have a strong connection to my heritage, a love of my roots and appreciation for all those who have touched my life in one way or another.
